Hi I'm Samantha! I'm from Colorado, but I'm currently located in Miami, FL where I attend the University of Miami. I have been creating art for as long as I can remember. I learned how to sew at the age of 10 and have been creating and designing fashion ever since. In 2018 I created my first collection inspired by my upbringing and earned the National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition: Silver Key Award. The Silver Key is awarded to stand-out works that demonstrate exceptional ability. Approximately 7-10% of all regional submissions are recognized with Silver Key Awards. Photography has also been a longterm passion of mine. Since I got my first professional camera in 2018, I've been experimenting with many different techniques, such as black and white film development. This past semester I took my first college level photography course where I learned to perfect my shots using a DSLR camera.

All of the designs below are handmade one of a kind garments created entirely by Samantha. The modeled garments are all a part of the Growing Up in Metamora 2018 collection. The white dress on the dress form is a hand made wedding style dress made entirely out of tissue paper and painters tape.
College level photography has taught me how to best capture my ideas and create visually interesting images, while using proper technique and connections to elements of design. My portfolio continues to grow immensely as I keep experimenting and capturing images. The link in this section will take you to my portfolio :)
